Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
