SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 'Only this has been revealed to me: that I am to give warning plainly and publicly." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 Then when I have formed him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down before him prostrate. 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 He (Allah) said: 'You are among those that are respited 80 for an appointed time". 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
