AND CALL to mind Our servant Job, [how it was] when he cried out to his Sustainer, "Behold, Satan has afflicted me with [utter] weariness and suffering!" 41 (The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." 42 And We gave him (back) his family, and along with them the like thereof, as a Mercy from Us, and a Reminder for those who understand. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 In Our sight they are among the chosen and excellent ones. 47 Remember [Our servants] Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhu'l-Kifl. Each of them was among the just. 48 This is a reminder. And lo! for those who ward off (evil) is a happy journey's end, 49 #NAME? 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 Hell, wherein they roast: a wretched couch. 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people who rushed headlong [into sin] with you? No welcome to them! Verily, they [too] shall have to endure the fire!" 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 All this is certainly true -- the inhabitants of the Fire will blame one another in this way. 64
