Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 Said He: "O Iblis! What has kept thee from prostrating thyself before that [being] which I have created with My hands? Art thou too proud [to bow down before another created being,] or art thou of those who think [only] of themselves as high?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 The Lord said, "Get out of here. You deserve to be stoned! 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 And ye will come in time to know the truth thereof. 88
