۞ And who is a greater wrong-doer than he who fabricateth a lie against Allah, and belieth the truth when it cometh unto him? Will not in Hell be an abode for the infidels? 32 And he (Muhammad SAW) who has brought the truth (this Quran and Islamic Monotheism) and (those who) believed therein (i.e. the true believers of Islamic Monotheism), those are Al- Muttaqun (the pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2). 33 For them is whatever they wish, before their Lord; this is the reward of the virtuous. 34 God will efface their worst deeds from their record and give them their reward in accordance with the best of their actions. 35 Is not Allah sufficient for His servant? And they seek to frighten you with those besides Him; and whomsoever Allah makes err, there is no guide for him. 36 but he whom God guides cannot be led astray by anyone. Is God not mighty and capable of retribution? 37 And should you ask them, Who created the heavens and the earth? They would most certainly say: Allah. Say: Have you then considered that what you call upon besides Allah, would they, if Allah desire to afflict me with harm, be the removers of His harm, or (would they), if Allah desire to show me mercy, be the withholders of His mercy? Say: Allah is sufficient for me; on Him do the reliant rely. 38 Say, "O my people, work according to your position, [for] indeed, I am working; and you are going to know 39 On whom cometh a torment humiliating him, and on whom alighteth a torment lasting. 40 [O Prophet!] We have sent down to you the Book for mankind with the truth. Then whoever adopts the right way, will do so for his own soul, and whoever goes astray, injures his own soul. You are not their custodian. 41
