And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct [i.e. guide you to Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism with which Musa (Moses) has been sent]. 38 O My people! this life of the world is but a passing enjoyment, and verily the Hereafter! That is the Abode of rest. 39 "He that works evil will not be requited but by the like thereof: and he that works a righteous deed - whether man or woman - and is a Believer- such will enter the Garden (of Bliss): Therein will they have abundance without measure. 40 ۞ My people! How is it that I call you to salvation, while you call me to the Fire? 41 Ye call me for this, that I should blaspheme against God and associate with Him that whereof I have no knowledge, and I call you onto the Mighty, the Forgiver. 42 Without doubt ye only call me unto that which is not to be invoked in the world nor in the Hereafter; and verily our return shall be unto God, and the extravagant; they shall be fellows of the Fire. 43 And ye will remember what I say unto you. I confide my cause unto Allah. Lo! Allah is Seer of (His) slaves. 44 So Allah protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment - 45 the fire [of the hereafter - that fire] which they had been made to contemplate [in vain,] morning and evening: for on the Day when the Last Hour dawns [God will say,] "Make Pharaoh's folk enter upon suffering most severe!" 46 And when they argue with one another in Hell, the weak will say to the proud: 'We were your followers, will you help us against any share of the Fire' 47 The arrogant will answer: "All of us are in it. Surely God has judged between His creatures." 48 Those in the Fire will say to its keepers, "Implore your Lord to relieve our torment for one day," 49 They shall say: Did not your apostles come to you with clear arguments? They shall say: Yea. They shall say: Then call. And the call of the unbelievers is only in error. 50
