Do you not see how those who dispute about the verses of Allah how they are turned about? 69 Those who reject the Book and that with which We have sent Our Apostle; but they shall soon come to know, 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 then it is said to them, 'Where are those you associated, apart from God?' 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter ye the gates of hell, to dwell therein. Evil is the habitation of the scornful. 76 So persevere in patience; for the Promise of Allah is true: and whether We show thee (in this life) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (before that),-(in any case) it is to Us that they shall (all) return. 77 Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost. 78
