Those who deny the truth say, "Do not listen to this Quran. Drown it out with noise, so that you may gain the upper hand." 26 We shall make the disbelievers taste the severest punishment, and retribute them for the worst that they had done. 27 The recompense of the enemies of God for their rejection of Our revelations will be fire as their eternal dwelling. 28 And the disbelievers said, “Our Lord! Show us both – among jinns and men – who misled us, for us to put them beneath our feet so that they be the lowest of the low.” 29 As for those who affirm, "Our Lord is God," and then remain steadfast, the angels will descend on them, saying, "Have no fear and do not grieve. Rejoice in the [good news of the] Garden that you have been promised. 30 We are your friends in the present life and in the world to come; therein you shall have all that your souls desire, all that you call for, 31 as a rich provision from One who is ever forgiving and most merciful." 32
