In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
HaMeem 1 Ayn. Sin. Qaf. 2 This is how Allah the Most Honourable, the All Knowing sends the divine revelation to you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) and to those before you. 3 Unto Him belongeth all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and He is the Sublime, the Tremendous. 4 The heavens almost break from above them, and the angels exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth. Unquestionably, it is Allah who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 5 Those who have taken protectors other than Him, are watched over by God. It is not for you to be their guardian. 6 [Thou art but entrusted with Our message:] and so We have revealed unto thee a discourse in the Arabic tongue in order that thou mayest warn the foremost of all cities and all who dwell around it to wit, warn [them] of the Day of the Gathering, [the coming of] which is beyond all doubt: [the Day when] some shall find themselves in paradise, and some in the blazing flame. 7 If God had pleased He would have made them one community of belief; but He admits whom He please to His grace; yet the sinners have neither friend nor helper. 8 Have they chosen other guardians besides Him? God is the real Guardian and it is He who will bring the dead back to life. He has power over all things. 9
