Vanity (Al-Zukhruf)
89 verses, revealed in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 CONSIDER this divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth: 2 Surely We have made it an Arabic Quran that you may understand. 3 and behold, it is in the Essence of the Book, with Us; sublime indeed, wise. 4 So shall We divert the advice away from you, because you are a nation that exceeds the limits? 5 How many Messengers did We send to the ancient people? 6 But there would not come to them a prophet except that they used to ridicule him. 7 So We destroyed (them)- stronger in power than these;- and (thus) has passed on the Parable of the peoples of old. 8 And if thou (Muhammad) ask them: Who created the heavens and the earth, they will surely answer: The Mighty, the Knower created them; 9 (Yea, the same that) has made for you the earth (like a carpet) spread out, and has made for you roads (and channels) therein, in order that ye may find guidance (on the way); 10 and who sent down out of heaven water in measure; and We revived thereby a land that was dead; even so you shall be brought forth; 11 And, (it is He) who has created all the pairs and appointed for you ships and the cattle on which you ride, 12 In order that you may mount firmly on their backs, and then may remember the Favour of your Lord when you mount thereon, and say: "Glory to Him who has subjected this to us, and we could never have it (by our efforts)." 13 “And indeed we have to return to our Lord.” 14 Yet they attribute to some of His servants a share with Him (in his godhead)! truly is man a blasphemous ingrate avowed! 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
