Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Indeed, the tree of zaqqum 43 will be the food of the sinful: 44 Like boiling oil, it will boil in the bellies, 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 (It will be said of such sinners), "Seize them and drag them into the middle of hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 Surely this is what you disputed about. 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 Within gardens and springs, 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 As such, We shall wed them to wide eyed houris (the virgins of Paradise). 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 So you wait. They are also waiting. 59
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
