The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 “Seize him and drag him to the middle of the Blazing Fire, 47 Then pour boiling water over his head as punishment. 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 This is the very thing which you [deniers of the truth] were wont to call in question!" 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They taste not death therein, save the first death. And He hath saved them from the doom of hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
