In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Allah has destroyed the deeds of those who disbelieved and prevented from Allah’s way. 1 And those who accepted faith and did good deeds and believed in what has been sent down upon Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him) – and that is the truth from their Lord – Allah has relieved them of some of their evils and refined their condition. 2 That is because the ones who deny the truth follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the Truth from their Lord. Thus God sets forth comparisons for mankind. 3 Therefore, when you meet the unbelievers smite their necks, then, when you have killed many of them, tie the bonds. Then, either free them by grace or ransom until war shall lay down its loads, in this way, it shall be. Had Allah willed, He would have been victorious over them; except that He might test you, the one by the means of others. As for those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will not let their works to go astray. 4 Anon He shall guide them, and shall make good their state. 5 and will admit them to Paradise with which He has acquainted them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and He has made their deeds ineffective. 8 That is because they hate the Revelation of Allah; so He has made their deeds fruitless. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen what was the end of those before them? Allah destroyed them completely and a similar (fate awaits) the disbelievers. 10 That is because Allah is the Protector of the believers whereas the unbelievers have none to protect them. 11
