Muhammad (Muhammad)
38 verses, revealed in Medina after Iron (Al-Hadeed) before Thunder (Al-Ra'ad)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Those who disbelieve and bar from God's way, God will send their works astray. 1 But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition. 2 This is because the disbelievers followed falsehood and the believers followed the Truth which is from their Lord; this is how Allah illustrates the examples of people to them. 3 When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks, then, when you have made wide slaughter among them, tie fast the bonds; then set them free, either by grace or ransom, till the war lays down its loads. So it shall be; and if God had willed, He would have avenged Himself upon them; but that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of God, He will not send their works astray. 4 He will show them the way, and better their state, 5 And He will admit them into Paradise they have been made familiar with it. 6 O ye who believe! if ye shall succour Allah, He shall succour you and make firm your feet. 7 But those who reject (Allah),- for them is destruction, and (Allah) will render their deeds astray (from their mark). 8 That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled then on the earth so that they might see how hath been the end of those before them! Allah annihilated them. And for the infidels theirs shall be the like fate therefore. 10 This is so for God is the friend of those who believe while the unbelievers have no friend. 11

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
