The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
