Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Qur'an. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every joyous kind 7 This is a reminder and it sharpens the insight of every servant of God who turns to Him in repentance. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 The people of Noah, Ar-Rass and Thamud denied before you, 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 Were We then tired with the first creation? Nay, They are in confused doubt about a new creation (i.e. Resurrection)? 15
