Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 Nay! they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, so the unbelievers say: This is a wonderful thing: 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 Rather, they belied the truth when it came to them, and now they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the sky above them, how We have fashioned and adorned it, and it has no flaw? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 And lofty date-palms with ranged clusters, 10 Provision (made) for men; and therewith We quicken a dead land. Even so will be the resurrection of the dead. 11 The people of Noah denied before them, and the companions of the well and Thamud 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba'; everyone of them denied (their) Messengers, so My Threat took effect. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
