Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 We know all what the earth decreases from them; and with Us is a Book that retains. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them - how We structured it and adorned it and [how] it has no rifts? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
