And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 His companion will say: "Here is (the record) I have ready with me." 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
