WHAT, THEN, is amiss with such as are bent on denying the truth, that they run about confusedly to and fro before thee, 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every one of them hope to enter [by this means] a garden of bliss? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West that We can certainly- 40 To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. 41 Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, 42 the Day on which they will hastily come forth from their graves, as though they were hurrying on to the altars of their deities. 43 With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. 44
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
