NOW, VERILY, it is We who have created man, and We know what his innermost self whispers within him: for We are closer to him than his neck-vein. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said): 'Of this you have been heedless. Therefore, we have now removed your covering. Today your sight is sharp' 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
