Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready (to note it). 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 His (angelic) companion will say, "(Lord), the record of his deeds is with me and is all ready". 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 He (Allah) will say: 'Do not dispute before Me. I sent you a warning beforehand. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
