We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, seated on the right and on the left. 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 His (angelic) companion will say, "(Lord), the record of his deeds is with me and is all ready". 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning. 28 The Word is not changed with Me; I wrong not My servants.' 29
