He created man and surely know what misdoubts arise in their hearts; for We are closer to him than his jugular vein. 16 Behold, two (guardian angels) appointed to learn (his doings) learn (and noted them), one sitting on the right and one on the left. 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, 24 who hinders good, exceeds the limits, is immersed in doubts, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
