Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the winds) that scatter dust. 1 by the clouds which are heavily loaded with water, 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe: 8 he is turned away from [the truth] who is destined to be so turned away. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Springs, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 praying at dawn for God's pardon, 18 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. 19 And on the earth there are signs for those who would be convinced. 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision and also what you are being promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
