۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 So Firaun sent gatherers into the cities. 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 "And they are raging furiously against us; 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 This happened with them; (but on the other hand), We enabled the Children of Israel to inherit those bounties. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Strike with thy staff the sea'; and it clave, and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in this is surely a sign, and most of them were not Muslims. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
