We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone). 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
