We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
