With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
