We have made the heavens with Our own hands and We expanded it. 47 And We made the earth a base, so how well do We lay out! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 And [tell them that] I have not created the invisible beings and men to any end other than that they may [know and] worship Me. 56 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
