We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 So woe to the unbelievers, for that day of theirs that they are promised. 60
