We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
