With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
