And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of every thing We have created pairs, that haply ye may remember. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I have not created mankind and jinn except to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of sustenance, the Lord of Power, the Strong. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
