Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 And that man hath only that for which he maketh effort, 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 And you are lost in play! 61 Rather, prostrate to Allah and worship Him. ۩ 62
