Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Has he not been informed of what is in the Scrolls of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 And that it is He Who causeth to laugh and causeth to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Which then of thy Lord's benefits wilt thou doubt? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
Almighty Allah's Truth.
