Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort will soon be scrutinised? 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 Thamud, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 It is He who turned upside down the people of Lot 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
