The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those (angels) ranged in ranks (or rows). 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And our fathers too?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
