Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 and that the final return is to your Lord, 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And He destroyed the overthrown cities [of Sodom to which Prophet Lout (Lot) was sent]. 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 On which then of your Lord's signs do you cast doubt? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
