Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
