Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Then he will be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense 41 that all things in the end shall return to God; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 That it was He who destroyed the 'Ad of old, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
