Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 What! Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he can see? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then shall he be rewarded for it with the fullest reward- 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 And that He it is who maketh laugh, and maketh weep, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
