Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Will you occupy yourselves simply in merriment? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
