Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 That man can have nothing but what he strives for; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 Then which of the gifts of thy Lord, (O man,) wilt thou dispute about? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
