(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 That it is He Who granteth Death and Life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamood, sparing no one, 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
