Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you [Prophet] considered the man who turned away, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 and that with thy Sustainer is the beginning and the end [of all that exists]; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 and He it is Who created the two kinds, the male and the female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And before them, the people of Nooh? Indeed they were more unjust and more rebellious than these! 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The threatened Hour is nigh. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
