Al-Qamar 3 of 3
The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 BEHOLD, everything have We created in due measure and proportion; 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All things they do are (recorded) in the books; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
