Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. 45 Rather, the Hour is their encounter. And that Hour will be most calamitous and bitter. 46 Surely the sinners are in error and insanity! 47 There shall come a Day when they will be dragged on their faces into the Fire and will be told: “Now taste the flame of Hell.” 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
