To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say, "We are a united group, and we are bound to prevail?" 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We did indeed destroy many like you. Is there, then, any who will heed? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
