▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are the unbelievers among you any better than they? Or is there immunity for you in the Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 Soon shall this legion be routed and shall turn their backs and flee. 45 Indeed, the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Last Hour will be the most severe, and the most bitter. 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the Day whereon they shall be dragged into the Fire upon their faces, it shall be said unto them: taste the touch of the Scorching. 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.
